Welcome to Mkombozi Bank
Mkombozi Commercial Bank is a limited liability company established under the Companies Act No. 2 of 2002 with registration No. 59516. The bank was licensed by Bank of Tanzania (BoT) to operate as commercial bank in July 18th 2009 and started its operations on August 28th 2009 by opening its first branch; St. Joseph Branch. The Bank’s offices are located at Plot No.40 Mansfield Street, behind St. Joseph Cathedral in Dar es Salaam.
The mission of the bank is "to be a bank that will provide high quality financial services to all sectors and levels of the economy in a sustainable and socially responsible manner to meet stakeholders' expectations".
In line with its mission, the bank endeavours to participate in Government’s efforts to fight poverty by improving the living conditions of society through the provision of credit facilities such as solidarity group loans, commercial loans, SACCOS loans, salaried loans, overdraft, equipment and investment loans as well as through various depository services such as savings accounts, current accounts and fixed deposits. Other banking services are guarantees, foreign exchange operations, ATM and money transfers.
